I bought Philosophy because I watched the women hosts talk about the Philosophy brand and how pure it was, and how wonderful for women they are....I liked it so I ordered it and when I got it I was SHOCKED to read the ingredients-
Philosophy, WHY ARE ALL 3 PARABENS IN ALL YOUR PRODUCTS? POLY, METHYL....
These are Cancer Causing Chemicals found in Breast Cancer Tumors in women and other cancers as well...AND most better brands of cosmetics companies have taken them OUT, or just kept 1 in....But Philosophy YOU HAVE ALL 3 PARABENS In YOUR PRODUCTS!! WHY?
Philosophy is not good for women!! I sent it back and ordered Josie Maran instead. I feel you are lying big time!
For Women's sake please take these out! You are making a fool out of us by promoting how pure you are and you have all 3 (not 1 or 2 ) cancer causing chemicals in them.

I think it's a misunderstanding some people have. I've never heard Philosophy say their products are 100% pure or all-natural. I think people are assuming the products may be all-natural, due to some of the product names - such as Pure Grace, Purity Made Simple, etc. For me, Philosophy's inspirational words on the bottles/jars/tubes and the product names themselves suggest a way of living one's life, and not a nod to the ingredient deck. I can understand how someone might initially think the products are all-natural, but if they listen to a full presentation, I'm not sure how they could continue to think Philosophy is all-natural. No offense meant to you, massal01. I've just never heard or read anything from Philosophy that has stated they are all-natural.
Regarding the parabens, I think Philosophy has stated they've removed some parabens from certain products, and have also said they are working on alternative preservatives. Maybe someone else has more details on that.

Contact philosophy directly with your question. They likely won't see it here on the qvc forum.

I just noticed there are alot of other women with the same concerns as me on other blogs. I will try to contact Philosophy directy although I don't know how to...if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.
It's not that they said it was all natural...but it's watching the Philosophy woman rubbing these cleansers and lotions on her saying how wonderful it is for women, meanwhile all these Parabens contribute directly to breast cancer and they put all 3 in most of their products.....I feel like they are lying directly to us as women.
