I don't know that i'm convinced about the color preservation

I started using WEN almost 2 weeks ago.... mainly for the color preserving. I dye my hair a neutral medium brown but i always run into the problem of my hair turning brassy. This even happens with a salon coloring. I'm almost two weeks in and i think my color is fading and turning brassy.... i knew i should have taken a "before" picture. Has anyone else not had luck preserving their color? i will continue to use the WEN and when it is time for another color job will do that and continue with another round of WEN and see what happens. I so wanted this to be "the answer".
