I know the fake eyelashes are popular and I don't remember them on everyday people back when I was a kid. My sisters wore makeup, but never the fake eyelashes.

My DD had a few extensions put on the outer corners of her eyes for her wedding day and also when she was bridemaid and a maid of honor. You could barely tell!

But some of the fake eyelashes are so thick and heavy looking (uppers). My fed ex lady wears them and so does a woman who works checkout at the grocery store. That and the loooong fingernails.

I feel bad for people who don't have eyebrows and draw them on. Sometimes, it's done so badly. All they need to do is go to a professional once and learn how to fill in properly, where it begins and how to taper off the ends. That's all it takes!

I agree about the lashes! Too much! You can almost hear her saying to herself, "I can't wait until I'm done and I can get these off.

I don't think it is appropriate to wear these when you're hosting a beauty show!

Yes, those nails that look razor sharp. Obviously, the women must have housekeepers because I don't know how you can do anything with them on.

I also do not like over done eyebrows making them fat and long.

The heavy looking, too long, false eyelashes with heavy eyeliner that some women wear looks awful. It makes the person look older. You can tell how long and thick and fake they are when they are on a close up shot and look down. It just looks horrible.

I've never worn false eyelashes but have seen them at the store of course. There seems to be lots of choices that are lighter, less full looking and I can't help but think would look better than those thick, heavy looking eyelashes.
