They did not say anything about a delayed shipping on the show.

They sure DIDN'T!!! If I hadn't seen your post about delayed shipping, I wouldn't have gone back to check the order I just put in and sure enough it says May 8. I don't like "advance orders" and especially since they didn't mention during the presentation I just watched, so i have cancelled it.

I noticed that right after I ordered and there was no mention at all of the products being on advance order. I contact CS and they said that it was somewhere in the fine print of the item description???

Re: I bought some Robin McGraw skin care, do you plan to buy?

Advanced orders on QVC means they bill your credit card then they refund it and when it comes they bill it again.

How do I know? Because yesterday I called QVC to find out because Honora was offering a few things that would come in later. I wanted to find out about payments. I called CS and that's what she told me.

She said they bill the credit card to make sure it is good then they refund it and later when it comes in they charge it again. Here's one thing about that. For a day or so (whenever they refund the first charge, they have access to your money to use it to put the down payment on their order. Then they give it back to you. I couldn't do that because I'd go crazy trying to keep track making sure they'd refunded my money and then remembering to see when they take it our again to pay for the item and when it is coming in.

Phew! Takes too much brain power.

When I did an original post on this practice yesterday. It disappeared into thin air.

I'm not saying QVc didn't want it as a headline, I don't know, I'm saying it disappered. And as you ladies know, I do know how to post! Ha!

I did not see it posted anywhere on the descriptions and they sure didn't mention in her segment.

No, I do not plan to buy her products. I am quite happy with the products I use: Cerave Foaming Cleanser, Roc Retinol or Alpha Hydrox Retinol Resq, and of course a broad spectrum spf 30 daily moisturizer. I also add a few drops of Vitamin C serum to my moisturizer.

Re: I bought some Robin McGraw skin care, do you plan to buy?

No, and when I watched his show on Friday, about a woman that her husband called her fat and unkept, I thought this was real but watching the show turned into a infomercial about her skin care line, pretty pathetic. I did see her on HSN and she has had more plastic surgery, a chin implant and it just looks horrible I am so sorry to say. Her products are nothing new and I am sure the botox look did not come from those little jars. She was so darn pretty when he first came on full time, I just wish she did not go down the road to major surgery. Sure, everyone does botox and fillers but she just destroyed her look after that chin implant. If you look at her from the side it is not a pretty sight, poor thing.

No, I have enough...

When I run out I will probably re-purchase the items I already use. One small change I may make is purchasing a different brand vitamin C serum.

I didn't see her. I won't buy her line as I have too much skincare. I use PTR, Retin A and a high SPF. I like her. I have never heard any dirt on her about being rude to anyone. She seems like a class act.

I do think she's had a lot of work done, but she is pretty.

I could not stand watching it, I thought it was terrible that Dr. P did a whole segment on her skin line. Like some of the others on this thread, he promotes his family. For example when his son published his book. Hubby and I would see how long it would take to promote the book, each and every day. As far as Robin is concerned, it think the last thing she should be doing is skin care. Does she honestly think we don't know she's had work done on her face??? I wouldn't buy from her if she was the last vendor on earth. I watch Dr. Phil, but to this day do not understand why she must sit in the audience every single day? Doesn't she have a life?? I hate it when he calls her to the stage like she is a professional anything, when she is not. Really, certainly riding on his coat tails.

Amen, sister. Couldn't have said it better myself!!

There was a story on Dr. Phil's personal life and his attitude towards women. Enough to turn me off to him, if it wasn't a sensationalized piece. Who would know these days. It might have been on the Biography channel. He seems to prefer subservient women and Robin fit the bill.

Who trusts these Oprah endorsed people anyway? Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil... ICK. I'm not taking my dislike for him out on Robin. I think she's playing the role he wants her to play as "the little woman." Yes, I think he's a MCP. It's pretty obvious at times.

Seems between NeNe, Kyle Richards and Robin, HSN is giving TV program semi-celebs their chance to sell-sell-sell.

I'd have to see an ingredient deck of her products. Honestly, I've never seen the woman up close.. only when I'm flipping channels and at the end of the show she gets up and walks out with HER MAN. GAG.

Funloving, every so often, he reveals his belief in the supremacy of the husband in the family. I think it is based on his religious beliefs, but I can't say for sure.

It is not something that appeals to me at all, religious or not.
