After you have applied your foundation all over, try using a stiffer small dense brush to apply the foundation just to the imperfections. See if that works. I do that with BE matte.

It did make my lines and wrinkles way more pronounced! I can't use it or Tarte. Returned both.

My mom is 72 and loves it. Granted she has great skin but still.... I think the trick is to go over problem spots with a stiff brush and then spritz your face with a setting spray. She and I both use MAC studio fix spray. It takes down that powdery look.

I'm going to give it another try; I've just had it for a couple of days. I also use the MAC studio fix spray. I'll have to try it with the Celebration. Thanks Debbie1426

If you have a powder puff, that might work better for applying powder. I do not have IT powder foundation, but applying compact powder with a puff and not a brush looks better on me.

I fell for it, too. I tried using a little...didn't cover. Used more, better coverage, looked good for a couple hours, then started "coming apart" and left little patches all over my face. I tried buffing, not buffing, primer and no primer--nothing worked. I would have returned it, but I waited too long, trying to make it work.
I'm 59 and I find that even liquid foundations collect in the lines between my nose/mouth. So I use my Laura Geller (which looks good) and a couple of times during the day I smooth my finger over those lines to remove/redistribute foundation. I do have oily skin, which may be why I can use a powder.
No one product works for everyone!

I had problems with it also. I can only use it in tiny amounts on a puff. The CC cream is really good and I love the SPF 50. Actually Maybelline Rewind poreless powder is very nice especially for the price.

That darn car rear view mirror is the bane of my existence. It seems to find glitter in products that I swear wasn't there to begin with.

I also find that powder foundations are not for mature skin. They show every imperfection and emphasize it. Liquid or a cream are hydrating and flattering.
