I don't think I've ever purchased from a better company...well Amazon is just as good.

I called about a couple of products that arrived damaged.  One being the Makeup by Mario shadow topper in Bronzite.  It arrived smashed.  The other was Milk Makeup Bronze stick.  It arrived melted.  She told me to keep the shadow topper and is replacing it free of charge.  I didn't want another Milk Makeup bronzer sent out because I was afraid it would be melted as well.  She refunded my card and offered two more free samples and waited for me to choose which ones I wanted.  Gotta say tho, their sample selection is not as nice as it used to be.

@monicakm , what is a shadow topper? I've seen highlighters, bronzers , perfectors, eyeshadow, etc by Makeup by Mario, but nothing listed as shadow topper. Is this item listed by a different name?

It's real name is

Master Crystal Reflector

When I saw Julia Adams apply it, she was putting it on top of an Ilia liquid shadow so I guess that's why I referred to it as a "topper".  Sorry for the confusion.  It's a sheer base with crystal reflects.  Comes in three colors.  I didn't get the Quartz color as it looks like it will apply just like the Fenty Diamond Bomb (my first Sephora purchase that started all the maddess) Smiley Happy  Julia's look started with the Ilia liquid shadow in Cork, topped with the Bronzite and then just a dab in the middle with Quartz.

The Milk Makeup that arrived melted.  I guess with 107 degree temps, I can't be surprised.

Thanks for the explanation. I saw the crystal reflector on Sephora website. It looks nice, but not sure if I would get it. I like some shimmer, but nothing with much glitter.

@monicakm I like Sephora, too, but their website is absolutely terrible! For that reason, I never buy from them.

Wow, I'm shook! What is it about their website that you find so terrible? I probably feel the same way about the Ulta website but I can tell you why.   They have tiny product photos that can't be enlarged. That is my main complaint.  Also the layout of products but mostly the fact that you can't enlarge for a better view.

@monicakm   Last week I received another Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Skin Enhancer...smashed in shipping. Sephora said they would replace it and it arrived yesterday in perfect shape.

I've had issues with perfume or oils arriving with leaks,etc., but never an issue with Sephora making good on my purchases.

I think the packaging of products need to be greatly improved by the companies. It isn't Sephora's fault.

@Shanus

Have you had a chance to use the sculpting product yet?  I haven't been

interested in it (yet) but I'd like to hear  your thoughts when you use it.

Sephora asked me about the pkg.  The box and the pkg the makeup was in perfect condition but the product it's self was completely crumbled.
