That is SUPREMELY awesome!  I want to do it!  May I ask the what was the cost?  Also, was it painful?  I have ZERO tolerance for pain!

Looks great, youthful and natural. Now I'm tempted to go under the needle, too.

Wow! Thank you for such a SUPREME compliment! Yes, this is extremely awesome. I keep looking in the mirror and I'm so utterly pleased and so tickled with my results. I can hardly believe it! Cost, $543, which included some Botox, which I mentioned upthread. If this RHA lasts as long as it's claimed to do, this was money well spent. And I just can't stop saying how happy I am with my results!!! This Aesthetician only charges for what is used. No need to purchase "a syringe " or x amount of units that are often prerequisites at various spas. Plus, she's truly a minimalist and does refuse treatment procedures by those wanting exaggerated, extreme and unnatural looking results. For example, (like) wanting those huge lips seen on many social media sites. (Which I think look very unnatural and pretty creepy weird too)

Pain? Yes. Horrible? No. I tolerated it pretty well. The numbing cream worked quite well. I definitely was  numb before she started the procedure. I understand you can also request a numbing injection too if you're hypersensitive, prior to the procedure as well. Like at the dentist. But you have to be able to tolerate that poke. I alway utilize my deep yoga breathing whenever I encounter needles, blood and or uncomfortable medical procedures. Keeps me focused and has helped me through decades of less than pleasant situations.

This woman is a pro. An RN plus a licensed attorney who specialized in medical malmalpractice for many years as well. Married to a cardiologist. I could sense her professionalism from the moment we met until I walked out of her office. Also, I learned not everyone is able to use RHA in their practice. Apparently, you must be well vetted before the parent company allows its use by just anyone, anywhere. Good to know!

So if you truly have zero pain tolerance...maybe a numbing shot would be better than the cream, if could handle that. Or just resign yourself to passing on this type of procedure. Do know I truly am a huge wuss. Ketchup on fries can have me ducking for cover. Or I just faint when it's too much to handle, lol, but true.

I currently have minimal swelling on my upper lip and barely any on my lower lip. Absolutely ZERO pain or any kind of discomfort since I left my appt 12 hours ago. Me and my sister did a little shopping and went out for a bite afterwards and I was and still am fine. The whole thing was very graceful. Knowing I was in good hands was the bigger part of my decision to do this.

I'm happy to answer any question you have  anytime.

@Sassycoco

Awww, Thank you for your kind words and compliments. I've been wanting to do something with my lips for awhile now. I love, love, love lipstick and hated seeing the change in my lips as I've gotten older. I didn't want or expect to look like I did at 30, but just a little something to tweak the shape a bit on my lower lip and balance that with minimal volume on the upper. I was definitely seeing major changes and didn't want to be looking pursed a d angry before my next birthday. There was no doubt I was heading in that direction.

Find a qualified practioner in your area by googling RHA filler with your zip code or ask around for referrals and set up a consultation (free) too.  Luckily,  my Aesthetician was referred. My sister and I tried to locate a place that offered the RHA. Not available everywhere per strict vetting by the parent company. If you choose to pursue this, please share your experiences too!

I can honestly say that this is the first time I've seen lip fillers look GOOD! You chose a great person to do it.
