Setting powder for undereyes

My hourglass setting powder is almost gone, and although I like it, the mini size has gone up in price. I want to find something less expensive, preferably no more than $20-25. Either drugstore or mini size high end or OK. The choices are overwhelming, so it would help if anyone can recommend something. TIA.

Re: Setting powder for undereyes

I don't know if it's considered a setting powder, but I use IT No More Pores underneath my eyes, along the sides of my nose, and in the T on my forehead following my foundatioin.  I tap it on with a flat brush.

I do a light sweep of Hourglass Ambient Light all over my face after all my makeup (except lips) is done, but I'm assuming that's not what you are talking about since you're specifically talking about under eyes.

I use BE mineral veil--but my fave is by MAC called Prep + Prime---a clear setting powder that looks white in the compact.

I tried Pat McGrath-garbage. However Laura Mercier has a great one specifically for the under eyes that I’m very happy with. Ironically I was using the powder to prevent transfer of mascara to my lower lids. Tried all combinations of eye cream and concealers. Wouldn’t you know It cosmetics concealer without powder had zero transfer!

@teganslaw

Everyone seems to love the loose huda beauty Easy Bake setting and baking powder for under the eyes. I have it in the color cupcake. There are 11 shades. Some come in mini sizes. I like it and don't have a problem with it settling in fine lines, but, I don't put it as far down is where my crinklies are at the top of my cheekbones. I use a small brush and keep it just under my bottom lashes to help with transfer of eyeliner.  Let me emphasize loose powder. The same thing is made in a compact but there have been a lot of grumblings about that compact form.

@teganslaw   I ordered the mini size of Givenchy "prism" loose powder. It has 4 shads in each container...comes in several shades (Sephora). It's very finely milled and is barely seen when applied under the eyes.

There are mixed reviews on certain drugstore products, so not sure. I might have to go closer to $30 if I want to stay with what works. Definitely stay with mini size, as those are within my budget. I will check for coupons to get a discount, so that should be OK.

I haven't used up my powder completely (though it's close). Maybe stay with Hourglass, but Huda sounds interesting and it's a couple dollars less.

Re: Setting powder for undereyes

I have a couple of them that I find are good.

Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder, I got the travel size just for this purpose! The No7 Lift and Illuminate pressed powder is great. I also use It Bye Bye Pores.
