@Shelbelle I haven't actually looked at the ingredients, but the names being so similar really turned me off from even trying the Dr. Denese product.  I tried Dr. Nassif's and regretted it.

I recall Lisa Robertson loving Hydroshield. She said she had very dry skin. I have some  on hand but seem to gravitate to other serums.
