Re: How painful is Threading?

It is less painful than waxing.  Threading doesn't harm the skin like waxing can.

It does sting, but the more you do it, the less painful it becomes.  The chin and neck and brows are not bad.  Above the lip is more senstitive.

Re: How painful is Threading?

I found it less painful than waxing. My daughter and my mother felt is was slightly painful but I did not. Threading did not cause any reddening of my face either and my complexion is fair.

Very little pain.  Musch nicer than waxing and it lasts longer too.  Make sure the person has lots of experience.

@CANDLEQUEEN

The only part of the body that threading is uncomfortable on is the upper lip.  I have always gotten a combo wax/threading on my face, but since starting to use Tretinoin, my esthetician wants to play it save and thread only.  The only part of my face that is uncomfortable is the upper lip.  Everything else is no problemo!

Re: How painful is Threading?

FOR ME......it was more painful than waxing and it almost always left little bumps afterwards. i was "threading" before threading was cool. LOL

Upper lip is the most tender.
