I am looking at getting it done on my chin area and upper neck area, not my brows. I have heard that it is more painful for your brows and upper lip..

Do you feel its more painful than waxing? Thanks! I know every one varies, just looking for opinions...

Never had it done either and if there is pain involved I probably will not! I am a huge coward.

Hi @CANDLEQUEEN. I am fair  and don't need it but I must say that I had it done once some years back on eyebrows.  Do not worry!.  I'm in SoFlo, plenty of waxing. etcetera. With no pain

IMO waxing is worse pain wise if you are asking.  I prefer the threading option.

@CANDLEQUEEN

Much less painful than wax or tweezing. Have had threading for 18 years now and never want to do any other method.

Hi @CANDLEQUEEN  You should definitely try threading. I don't think it is more painful than waxing, but there is a certain amount of discomfort.  Me & my sensitive skin prefer it to waxing Smiley Wink

Had my brows threaded once.   No discomfort but did not care for the eyebrow result

It's like plucking multiple hairs at once. No worse than tweezing.

Re: How painful is Threading?

I did not like the feel of the thread moving on my skin.  I would pick waxing.

Re: How painful is Threading?

Honestly, a lot depends on the skill of the practioner.

I think threading feels more like tweezing than waxing. I should also add that I have a high pain tolerance, so factor that in.
