How many washes do you get out of a 16 oz bottle?

I was just curious how many washes you get out of a standard 16 oz. bottle. I work at a salon and therefore have access to all the major salon brands (at a good price) but decided to try Wen to see what the hype was about. While I loved how my hair looked, I realized that I was only getting 5 or so washes out of an entire bottle. Is this normal? I can't imagine getting 5 shampoos out of $29 bottle. Even if I had to pay full price for a shampoo and a conditioner of a salon brand it would be much cheaper since most salon brands are very concentrated and you need very little. I have bottles that last for months. Is it just me or is 5 shampoos the norm?
