Does it have protein? I'm still trying to figure out what formula I need for my dry hair and I think protein might not work for me.

Yes. As I understand it, it should have a similar level of protein as the seasonals (and not as much as 613). But definitely more than the other core formulas or the Kids' formulas.

So if proteins dry out certain people's hair, they're basically SOL with the seasonals? It's weird to me that they'd change the formula of the seasonals like that.

I wasn't going to order a gallon this year since I still have a half of my TT left from last June, but I heard the price was going to be higher in the future and I love BGT I ordered a gallon on A/D so I better start doing my very short hair more often to use my collection of CC's

No, not necessarily. I can use some of the seasonals and my hair doesn't like protein much. If the seasonal is mixed with good moisturizing ingredients as well, then I can use it. That is why SHP and SMC have been fine for my hair- they both contain really good moisturizers, especially SHP which has a bunch of honey extracts before the amino acids so it is a nice balance for my hair.

It's the newest of the core line and really popular it isn't going to go away anytime soon. Rumor has it that the price will go up. 613 has always cost more too so I am trying to shop wisely and use those TSV deals. One nice thing about the Q is you can sign up for as many as you want and cancel anytime. I was waiting for great BGT combo but I didn't see one and was able to reinstate one! That way I know I will have enough BGT until Christmas.

can you explain what you mean by this? Smiley Happy

Well, I am wild about BGT so I ordered two of the ADs. Then I saw I had so much Wen coming and thought that maybe I would fall in love with SHP big time, because I am a beekeeper and love honey and I love peaches!

Anyway funds aren't unlimited so I cancelled the two BGT ADs because I had a lot of 613 from another AD that came with Fig and 613. But by then I was almost out of BGT so I checked to see if I could reinstate one and did. It was easy. Shipped the next day. I can use 613 as a body wash and facial wash so it won't go to waste and I use it on my hair too. Then I got the SHP and didn't care for it and the only thing I got on the last show was the 613 EDT, so I reinstated the second AD. They will both ship again in the fall so I will have enough BGT until Christmas. WHEW...that was a mouthful and hope that helps.

I have long hair and like to wash it everyday. I use TONS and I don't like to buy gallons. So some of these TSV ADs are a great way to go.

It's a permanent addition to the core line of CCs. It's not going away Smile It's very popular though, so items can sell out from time to time.

I just tried this formula for the first time and really love it. This is one of the formulas that I had never used before and will definitely buy a larger size in the future. I also have the RTM that I really like. I got a sample of this formula from a friend that was in a 4 oz. travel size.

It better never ever EVER go away because it is my all-time favorite now and only wish I'd tried it sooner so I could have scored a gallon before it was too late.

Hi shrixer78. I ordered a gallon of BGT for my sister who lives in London. Unfortunately, the cost to ship it to her is outrageous. I purchased two (one for her and one for me on AD) so I have an extra one here. I don't know where you are located (I'm in CA) but if there was a cost effective way I could get it to you, I would be happy to send it your way. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

My BGT TSV finally shipped today so I will find out what the craze is all about. I hope I like it as well. I'm in So Cal, the color of the fruit with a navel.
