Re: How long does it take for your morning routine?

My morning routine is under 10 minutes since I don't usually go anywhere during the day. Brush my teeth, wash my face, run wet hands thru my hair and fluff it, then put my lancome cream on my face . . . DONE!

Two hours for me if I'm doing all @JeanLouiseFinch is talking about.  I try to wash my hair the day before if I know I'm going out.  It looks better after sleeping on it for 3 days.

@monicakm  -  I'm the opposite.  My hair looks the best the day I wash and blow dry it.  It's the most full and bouncy then.

Re: How long does it take for your morning routine?

Hardly any time--most days I just do my skincare with no make up--maybe 15 minutes. but if I do put on m/u then it takes maybe 1/2 hr. Nothing fancy or involve anymore. It's my stupid hair that takes the longest and it is a pixy cut--🫤

It doesn't take me long. Cleanse, apply serum then moisturize. I use a small handheld fan if I need things to dry faster. This fan fits nicely under the sink in my bathroom.

@SilleeMee  I am going to look for that fan.  Thank you 😍

@MrsCat21

You're welcome.

I think the Geek Aire company stopped making that particular model of fan but if you have your heart set on the brand, there are several I saw on ebay for around $35. That's a bit more than I spent on mine but I will say that Geek Aire is a quality brand of fan. It's powerful and stays charged for a very long time.

Search ebay: Geek Aire Rechargeable Personal Fan with Power Bank

Good luck!

eBay has a pink one!

@SilleeMee  Thank you for sharing that. I just purchased it this morning.

@SilleeMee I definitely needed a fan to set (dry down) my serums. This looks like a really nice one. Thanks again.

Re: How long does it take for your morning routine?

@JeanLouiseFinch .... just a quick question...

 You know im using the Ordinary GF serum??... instructions say not to use C serums  or any acids.   So since im applying this 2x day, im not using my C serum...now what to do ??

 I looked around on different sites, and this is what it says...no C.

@Dazlin

It would depend on the pH of the VC serum. Some VC derivatives are more on the neutral side whereas ascorbic acid is highly acidic and would denature the proteins in the GF serum plus neutralize the ascorbic acid. You can try a different VC derivative instead.

@Dazlin - that may be the case with an L-ascorbic acid form of Vitamin C due to it's instability.  I use the THDA (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) version which is an oil form and very stable.  If your VC is unstable use the GF once daily opposite your GF.

Thanks @SilleeMee for supplying your chart.

I put tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate can be used at the same time as growth factors on my search engine and here's what it said.

  • @SilleeMee  @JeanLouiseFinch ....great info.  THANK YOU!!! ..right now all I have is the ordinary powder...it gets mixed in any liquid or cream.  I'd like to finish it.

I bought it because I never felt or saw any difference with others...I've used The Lab, Timeless,  Dr. Brenner...I've always heard l ascorbic is the best/ potent...so i try stick with that.   So....what if I use the T.O. powder mid day....between the GF??

I really want to stick with the GF 2x daily.

  Of course that would be on a day im home with no make up, to incorporate the C powder.    Idk...maybe not a good idea.

  @JeanLouiseFinch ...where do you get the C serum? Tet....?
