How long does it take for your morning routine?

How long is your morning routine?  Do you let each step dry down before moving on to the next?  I am finding that it is taking FOREVER to get out of the bathroom in the morning 🫠  First step is an RX Azelaic Acid, so I let that dry completely.  Then on to VIt C and a Peptide serum (I dont combine them, maybe I should), moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, foundation or some light skin tint...it's the drying of the serums, moisturizer, sunscreen and primer that is getting to me.

It doesn't take me long. Cleanse, apply serum then moisturize. I use a small handheld fan if I need things to dry faster. This fan fits nicely under the sink in my bathroom.

I always wonder if all the serums and acids, sunscreen, moisturizers, etc etc are really doing skin any good if it's just sitting on top of the skin and not getting absorbed.

I have this exact same fan as @SilleeMee .  A very handy tool!  I think @SilleeMee is the one that recommended it from Amazon?  Smiley Happy

@MrsCat21

You're welcome.

I think the Geek Aire company stopped making that particular model of fan but if you have your heart set on the brand, there are several I saw on ebay for around $35. That's a bit more than I spent on mine but I will say that Geek Aire is a quality brand of fan. It's powerful and stays charged for a very long time.

Search ebay: Geek Aire Rechargeable Personal Fan with Power Bank

Good luck!

eBay has a pink one!

Re: How long does it take for your morning routine?

I don't feel like it takes me all that long because I keep things moving.  Right or wrong, I don't let every single thing dry completely before I add the next and I do other little jobs in between.  Some serums are intentionally layered on damp skin and I also cocktail some things. In between, if/when I am waiting, I'm doing something else; choosing my outfit, changing into underwear, applying deodorant, applying body cream, collecting dirty clothes for the hamper, making the bed, putting bottoms (jeans, sweats, leggings) on, putting my top on, putting gym shoes or slippers on, etc.  If I'm staying home and not putting a full face of makeup on, and not doing much with my hair, it's maybe 15 minutes start to finish.

On the days where I'm putting in more effort with doing my hair from freshly washed to dried and styled, wearing a nicer outfit, doing a full face of makeup, etc. I give myself an hour and a half so I don't have to rush but I can usually finish in an hour if I don't get distracted.
