How do YOU apply your Bobbi Brown concealer & corrector?

I saw the other concealer thread, and thought I'd get the expertise of you beauties who use BB!

I bought her corrector & concealer over the summer, and for the life of me, I can't get it to look right! I had a traveling BB artist, and a SA at one of the BB counters suggest the same shades for me. I try applying it at home, and can't make it work! I bought a Cream Blending brush they suggested, over the concealer brush. And I know eye cream is a must under it! It does seem to emphasize fine lines for me--but I haven't found one that doesn't. It also doesn't seem to cover that well! I have "medium" darkness under the eyes, not severe circles.

I only put concealers on after foundation or tinted moisturizer--ideally I'd like to be able to wear it alone sometimes. How do YOU apply it? Thanks!
