After reading a thread about a great lipstick for green eyes earlier this week, I went searching for and found Too Faced "livinging in sin" and did not work at all for me. I did fall in love with the other suggestion of MAC "syrup" and purchased that. I was looking into eye colors (liner and shadow) to make my green eyes pop. I do like the kit from Sephora for green eyes but am always looking for options. A woman who manages a sephora-like store in my local mall said that the deep plum liner I was wearing did not bring my eyes out but suggested black. She didn't think I should brown or plum liners which is what I thought us green eyed girls were told to use!
I always heard that purple and plum shadows brought out green eyes (I use Bobbi Brown's liner in Black Plum which has been discontinued. Then I went to sephora and the guy was useless he said in terms of a liner black for night time, brown for daytime...liner 101 basically.
Currently for the day I use the Black Plum liner and heather (grey purple) Bobbi Brown shadow and for evening the Sephora Green Eyes Kit.
Any suggestions would be appreciated (nothing with a shimmer or glitter though ![]()
THANKS!
