I got DIffused -- Josh Collier said he uses it all over his face, and that's what I'm hoping to be able to do. He showed the list from least pearl to most pearl, and Diffused was 2nd on the list which also added to my decision - I don't want too much shine/reflection/"glow".

I have pink undertones (I'm VERY fair) and am continuously complaining that most foundations are too yellow -- so I gave this a lot of thought (it's yellow!) before deciding on my first shade. (So many say "I want them all!" that I know I'll probably be coming back for more.

Another factor in my decision is that my face is slightly red (hardly noticeable) because of my Tria antiaging laser treatments, so hoping this will counteract that, too.

I think Mood is gorgeous, and was sorely tempted, believe me! I'd even like to try the palette even though I'd probably use those shades infrequently.

I'll give a Diffused review when it arrives!

Yes, let me know. I'm very fair too with freckled ruddy skin (Irish). I thought the diffused might help with this. I did just buy some Paula's Choice skin brightener and vitamin C15 so between that and the hourglass I am hoping for an improvement! I'm sure you will love it and become obsessed like me! Smiley Wink. It's just that little something extra that helps.

Yep, Irish here, too. That's part of the reason it was almost a struggle for me to click Diffused. Stand by --- I ordered it Priority so hopefully I'll get it by Friday.

ETA: Cardamom, how do you like the shades in the palette -- do you use any of them?

Re: Hourglass Cosmetics and Animal Testing -- this is nice!

Although I am a bit of a beauty junkie, I had never heard of this line until someone at another product boutique recommended it.

I have tried foundation and concealer. (I think it's the Immaculate Liquid powder foundation).

The foundation was good, the concealer is great. Also, the price seems like a lot, but when I compared the amount of product in the tube vs other brands, it was actually a deal.

I went the that retailer where you can get samples of anything, and got a sample of foundation and primer. I have used the foundation twice, the first time I used WAY too much. And even though I used a lot less, I think I still used too much the second time. (I have been using mineral foundation for a long time, so I am getting used to the liquid learning curve). I haven't tried the primer yet.

HSN had a good try me kind of bundle of Hourglass products. The serum primer, primer, mascara, and a stain/gloss. To be honest I bought it hoping I could use the gloss to keep non stain actually on my lips as they claimed it would...not so much but the primers are nice. Not sure they're worth what they cost regularly though

I bought the blush recently and love it and want to order another shade now. I order at Sephora online as I don't know of a close store to see Hourglass in person.

At first I did not love it. I was going to return it and exchange it for another powder but my store never has them in stock!!! Anyway.... I love Dim, not as much as Mood and I can't exactly say why. It must be the color. It just looks flattering on my skin but for that soft veil Dim does the job. I like Incandescent a lot. I have a lot of highlighters already. This is very very subtle. It lightens and brightens but I really can't see the glow, which was why I wanted to try Luminous. My eyes are very sensitive but I am able to set my under eye concealer with it so I like it for that and I wouldn't wear a really glowy color there anyway. Radiant is the one I like the least. It's not bad. It's okay. I hated it at first. It looked really orange. Then I tried it with a different and slightly lighter foundation. It's much better with that one. It just gives me a little warmth but again I much prefer mood so I don't want to cover that up. It's a little glowy. I've used it as eyeshadow and it was gorgeous.

It's nice to have and I like it. I guess that is why I am having a hard time taking it back. I tend not to use mood when I am using this. I will use Dim all over, Incandescent in the highlight areas and Radiant in the bronzing areas. Since Diffused brightens as well I don't think you'd need Incandescent and the singles are a better value. At the time I got Mood it was during the last sale and my store only had Mood and Radiant in stock. I would say Mood was about my 4th choice but now that I have used others I am realizing Mood really is my color! Diffused might look great too and I am dying to know. That is the problem with these powders. One looks good and you want to try the others.
