Holy cow I haven't done this in years. After a bad dye job and a redye, i have some split ends despite trimming some of them off. My hairstylist told me to try olive oil. I was ready to take two inches off my hair this weekend, and I stopped at Sally's last night and got a large bottle of oil. Primarly Olive oil, jojoba oil, grapesead oil, canola oil, soybean oil, flaxseed oil, silk and Vitamin B. It was only like $3.99. Smelled wonderful. It's called African Pride Oil, and can be used on skin, hands, scalp and hair and used for hot oil treatments. So I did a hot oil treatment last night and omg, my hair is soft and gorgeous, back to normal! I did have to use my regular tresseme shampoo with sulfates, not my color shampoos without sulfates to get all of the oil out while shampooing, but wow. I have also been using Tresseme Split End Leave on Cream and my split ends look great today. Even my co-worker commented on how shiny my hair is!

Just thought I'd share!
