Hope In A Jar Night....Is the Smell Really Bad?

Ladies, I am tempted to buy the supersize Purity, Microdelivery, Hope In A Jar and Hope In A Jar..........but I am concerned about all the bad reviews. For those that have tried HIAJ Night....what is your opinion of the smell. I have already used HIAJ and Miracle Worker and Have no Problem with the Scent. Thanks

I thought it was me and was very hesitant to buy an entire jar. Now I know it is not my imagination and will most likely not be buying HIAJ Night. Too bad because I typically love all philosophy products. Make it smell better and watch sales skyrocket!

Did you take gym class? Did you store your gym clothes in a locker for the week (including your shoes and socks)? Remember what the locker smelled like when you opened it?

That's what it smells like. Imagine that being on your face and the smell up your nose all night.

I don't care how good it is, I could not get past the smell.

I was also turned off by the reviews of the smell. I purchased a sample size which is about .04 oz, and I really do not see what all of the fuss is about. I just went ahead and purchased a regular size of it.

I received a sample size with an order from Nordstrom. To me it smells like a dead fish. I think it has a very similar smell to the Perricone product, the neuropeptide cream, that also has that bad fishy smell.

Don't know about that, but I bought a kit @ Ulta a yr. ago, and the Hope in a Jar went "down South" (awful) in 2 months!

I won't buy anymore Philosophy....it's no wonder these items land @ TJMaxx!

I don't mind the scent of HIAJ night at all. It smells much better than the regular HIAJ. If anything it has a slight retinol smell kind of like the Help Me has.

The regular HIAJ doesn't bother me at all. But, if you are fond of the smell of dirty socks, you will love the night cream. Fortunately, it does dissipate. And I do like how quickly it absorbs, and how soft my skin feels from it. I just have to wash my hands after applying it.
