Home Made RTM help

Does anybody have any recommendations on why this happens. I have seen the receipe for homemade RTM in other threads but when I made it, it completely separates. I used distilled water and after shaking it mixes, but within 1 minute the water is on the bottom and everything else is floating on top.

Is it because the styling cream has dimethicone which is a silicone substance?

I just shake it before I use it but it is sorta wierd, not like the RTM that you can buy.

Any thoughts?{#emotions_dlg.confused1}
