I think a reddish brown color will look pretty as highlights. Years ago that I what I chose when I highlighted my hair & received many compliments. Good luck. I look better in white as off white does nothing for me.

Yes, IMO, the silver or whitish blonde highlights on brown hair can be aging. A nice caramel color might be nice!

Light brown and medium brown for highlights.
To make sure they don't 'pull' red and/or brassy, the shades should have "ash" or "cool" in their name.

My daughter has medium brown hair and her dresser used caramel color highlights. It looks very pretty.

I agree. Carmel is the way to go, especially for dark brown hair. That is, if you want subtle rather than striking.
