Hi. I know it is YMMV with skin care but I am hoping to at least get some brands that I can research. I am not really sure how to categorize my skin type. I am guessing it is "normal" ie- not overly dry or oily. That being said, I have used many cleansers and it seems like my skin feels dry after cleansing. I read all the time that you should be using a "gentle" cleanser so as not to dry skin out but many of the cleansers I've used are "gentle". Here is a listing of what I've used. Can anyone recommend others for a cleanser and moisturizer. I hate anything that feels heavy on my skin. I don't care as far as lotion/lather on my cleanser. I'm not overly picky, I just don't want my skin to look so dry. As I said prior, I really believe the cleansers are making me extra dry right now.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, Aquanil, Cerave (stings my skin), Trader Joe's all in one, Clinique liquid mild and soap in mild, Ponds (this one is actually ok but leaves my skin a little greasy), Clinical Basic gentle and normal cleanser (internet company), Arbonne (too expensive, did nothing), Neutrogena Extra (ok but can be a little too greasy sometimes), Paula's choice both moisture boost and recovery (both for dryish/normal skin but both dried me out something awful), Garden of Wisdom (nothing wonderful or awful, just ok), Dove soap, purpose. I know there are more but these are the ones I've been trying lately.

I've been using Albolene to remove my makeup and that works fine. I just need to find a decent cleanser and moisturizer that won't dry out my skin and will actually make it look a little dewy.

I appreciate the help in advance. Thank you. I know they are just opinions but I am looking for some direction in my search. I've being looking online/researching but it seems like derms recommend the ones I've listed above.
