Help selecting EVE PEARL Shade/TSV

I need help selecting which foundation shade to try. I think I'm in between medium and tan.  I'm medium/tan, olive skin with golden undertones. The medium looks a little to light and the tan looks to dark. I know the model Sheila had on the tan but I'm slightly lighter than her. Should I go for the lighter shade(medium) or the darker shade(tan)? Suggestions please.Smiley Wink

You could go for the medium and warm it up w/the bronzer. Use the tan if you do get additional warmth during the summertime.

This is very good mu, forgiving for mature skin and sensitive skins.

If you are lighter than Sheila I would go for the Medium. I am a Tan and it is perfect for me, but I am Sheila's coloring. The colors are very rich, so I would think medium would work for you........

No matter what you decide, I love the split pan because you can indeed blend the lighter with the darker shade....I disagree with the medium: go with the tan if you feel that you are lighter than the model and that's what she was wearing-tan.

You can always return it if it doesn't work for you. I stay out of the sun, but if you are out and your skin tans, that's another consideration.

One other point: I love the Q for this....if you are not sure, they always have a "go with the....shade": they have never steered me wrong.  I did not see today's presentation so far, but I have seen and bought enough Eve Pearl to say both her and the hostess are probably recommending the medium shade-even though I recommended the tan.

Foundations can be tricky if you judge just by what you see on the screen-but I think the Q settles that issue by testing in various skin tones.....as I said, it's a beautiful thing that you can return it if it doesn't work for you, and in twenty years of buying from them-give or take-I go as far back as when then Jane Rudolph presented Yves Richer as the premier brand- I've never had to return......

Re: Help selecting EVE PEARL Shade/TSV

I bought one of her TSV's last year and returned it because I had just ordered another brand and felt I didn't need both.  I want to try this one and ordered it in Light and then  realized last time I had ordered Fair (even though I'm not porcelain).  I changed my order to Fair again since I think the shade worked for me even though I chose to keep another brand at that time.    It is so hard choosing from the presentations, but I usually do okay with the shades.              I also wondered why in the demos she didn't show putting make-up on the model's forehead.    I'm going to watch more demos today.

I bought the medium the last TSV.  I am golden medium and tan easily.  I would be a tan in the summer.  I usually purchase a medium and use a little bronzer.  Unfortunately, this particular brand didn't work for me personally, but it is a worth a try.  I'm not sorry I tried it - I just returned it. Not everything works for everyone so if you really want to try it, go for it.

I also think there is a question and answer  under The TSV forum where you may be able to ask as well......
