@Allthingsgirly67 Honestly once the ends get dry it's best to have them trimmed. It's dead hair. flat irons are very hard on the hair.

I use a product that I always go back to no matter what for the past 20 years at least. It's called Schwartzkopf Sealed Ends. It's specifically formulated to nourish the ends of your hair. It's a cream in a tube, and after i wash my hair i put some in (not a lot) and work it through and comb it out roots to ends. Then I blow dry. After I've styled it, I work a tiny bit through my hair for shine and to cut down on frizz. And I have very coarse frizzy hair. Like I said, I try other products all the time but always go back to Sealed Ends. You can find it on Amazon.

I see that product all over TikTok and I've been so tempted to try it. I might now, since you can get a travel size on Amazon. Thanks!

Trim is the only solution for fried dry ends. As for products to help prevent your ends from drying out, I swear by Tweak'd By Nature Restore Hair Treatment. It is a 5-in-1 product that is used as your hair treatment, shampoo, conditioner, detangler, and shine enhancer. In other words, your home hair care products are scaled down to this and whatever you use for styling.
My hair is super fragile and fine. I do a deep conditioning treatment with the Tweak'd Restore once a week. I shampoo 2 or 3 times a week. I use the Restore as my daily conditioner. For styling my products of choice are Wen's Mouse (Lilac is my favorite amongst the scents) when I braid or twist my hair or It's Miracle Styling Balm (if I'm going to use heat). Either way, a little Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey is applied to my scalp and ends.

I have been using ISO Bouncy Creme Curl Texturizer for years, I apply a small dab in the palm of my hands and scrunch the dry ends of my hair to give it moisture and softness. The product has been discontinued but you can still find it on eBay, I think Walmart sells it online too..
