Help! My shellac manicure keeps chipping!

I have had two shellac manicures and have had a lot of trouble with the polish chipping which

it is advertized as not to do and should last 14 days. Mine chips in 2-3 days. I have gone

to two different salons and have had the same problem with both.

I have been getting a french manicure and am wondering if this could be the problem.

I think I am going to try a single color next time and give it one more chance before I give up.

Do any of you have similar experiences with the shellac manicure? TIA
