I love Schmidt's deodorant! I'm on my 2nd jar - it works at keeping odors away. Ck. out schmidtsbeauty.com I've used the bergamot & lime and the lavender & sage. It comes in a 2 oz. jar w/ a lid & a little scoop, costs $9.00. I find it easy to apply and feel very confident throughout the day. I've tried alot of natural deodorants & this one is the best IMO ![]()

I was the one that was addicted to Secret Clinical Strength.Make your own! Coconut oil, baking soda, tea tree oil. I'm on 3 years of making my own...haven't had a smelly day since! 😀. Very inexpensive, products you already have, natural/non-toxic. Tons of videos on YouTube.
Cardamom: I just saw your entry...I keep mine out in a pretty container on my vanity....but the extra goes in the frig. I would recommend putting some on in the evening after I workout & shower...and again in the morning.
The best vid is YouTube, search spark wisdom deodorant ....or here's the link: http://youtu.be/lysPnzxPgDA.
sidsmom, have you tried using the arrowroot in your mix? I've seen several recipes similar to the one from spark wisdom but they also added in arrowroot and it helps make it a solid deodorant so you can actually put it in a regular deodorant container and twist it up as needed. Kind of cool!

I have to try arrowroot.....I've done cornstarch, but it seems to "dry the pits" too much! You've piqued my curiosity by mixing in my WEN oils...I'm thinking the CC would feel like lotion on your arm pits...weird feeling, but try it & report back. I've been doing this for going on 3 yrs now....bit it DID take me a couple weeks to get used to the wetness since it's not an antiperspirant. Over time the baking soda and/or cornstarch/arrowroot dries out the underarm area so wetness isn't a problem today. You'll find the formula is "looser" in the warmer months due to the coconut oil, so that's why I never entertained the container idea, but again...try it & report back. What do you have to lose? HTH. ![]()

I use Crystal Essence roll on deodorant in pomegranate scent. The scent is nice and it doesn't turn funny on me. I can pick it up at my local supermarket. No parabens or what have you.

I also use this one. None of the others mentioned control odor for me very well. What's also nice about it is it contains no aluminum which is why I chose it. It works as well as the aluminum containing ones. You can find it online for under $3.00 a bottle. Comes in many scents but I like the pomegranate one best.

I use Tom's of Maine and Herbal Magic Jasmine. Both are good deodorants but in summer I need an antiperspirant and shave the night before so I don't have to put it on freshly shaved skin.
