Hello Happy Foundation from Benefit Review

I have only used this a few times but so far I am very happy with it.  I bought the color Light 3.  It was $29 at Ulta (HSN has the same price.)  It has SPF 15.   You do have to shake the bottle up before using.

Today I did half my face with my favorite Edward Bess foundation ($58) and the other half with this one.  You couldn't tell the difference.  I do have to give the edge to the EB one for how it feels going on but the look came out the same.

The EB one is a cream foundtion in a compact which I do prefer to liquid foundation.  I suspect that as a liquid I may use up the Benefit one quicker so the price might not be as good a deal as it seems.  The bottle is fairly small.  However, I am very happy to have found a good foundation that I should be able to find fairly easily near me.

@Roni18 Thanks for the review. I saw this at Ulta and wondered about it. I didn’t see a shade that I thought would work for me, so I moved on. The shade selection seemed rather limited to me.

Re: Hello Happy Foundation from Benefit Review

I was able to get my hands on this early and have been wearing for a few weeks. This is my new favorite summer foundation. It really blurred my imperfections without looking made up with makeup. Shade 3 is the perfect match for my fair complexion. I have sensitive and dry skin and haven't experience any problems. Love the addition of sunscreen. One less step in the morning.

Hello Happy is 1 oz which is standars size for just about every liquid foundation. Yes, there are exceptions. Not sure what makes you say it is fairly small.

It's a nice foundation with light coverage but not the best for oily skin. I like the shape of the bottle and dispenser. Enjoy!

Re: Hello Happy Foundation from Benefit Review

I just ordered the foundation from HSN. They have the foundation with a brush for the price of the foundation alone ($29), free shipping, and a 20% off coupon for today (HSN sent me an email). It cost me $25.26 with tax (my shade is on extended delivery I'll get it August 10).

I could not wear Benefit's first foundation.  Lack of shades to begin with and the one for me was so yellow it looked like I had jaundice.  Cat Frustrated

Just an FYI for anyone who tries to avoid alcohol in cosmetics...it is third on the ingredient list.
