Jack Black, where do you buy this?
I get it at Serphora and it's also available at Dermstore. It's usually around $7 or so.

I use Vaseline nightly and in the morning. If I am not going out I apply it off and on all day. I carry Nivea lip balms in my purse for when I am out and about.

@Booksamillion Exfollate with sugar and olive oil and or coconut oil. You just rub it on your lips, 30-60 seconds, wipe off, and the left over oil will moisturize your lips. Do it on your hands too. A toothbrush after each brusshing on your lips can help too. Then use an organic lip balm.

I've tried just about everything on my lips and Burt's Bees really seems to work. Several varieties to choose from and the tinted balms have replaced all glosses for me.
@just bee seriously? 😳

Chapped lips can be caused by a deficiency of B vitamins. For me, vitamin B3 (Niacin), keeps my chapped lips at bay.
Just found this info online:
“Vitamin B-3, also known as niacin, is a water-soluble vitamin that prevents chapped lips by helping them retain their moisture. Vitamin B-3 also eases pain associated with dry and cracked lips, transports nutrient, blood and oxygen to your lips, repairs damaged lips and aids in the healing process, according to Jorg Kastner, author of the book “Chinese Nutrition Therapy: Dietetics in Traditional Chinese Medicine.” Foods rich in vitamin B-3 include light meat chicken, enriched pasta, lentils, lima beans, coffee, whole wheat bread, salmon, beef and peanuts.”

As ridiculous as some of our state laws are, this one is not currently on the books. But if you're planning a trip, it's definitely recommended! ![]()

Beeswax has many good natural properties, for example, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and also anti-viral. So when you apply it to cracked skin then your skin will benefit from it on many levels.
The one I use has this in it:
Ingredients: Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Beeswax, Olive Oil (Olea europaea), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis sativa), Vitamin E (Tocopherol).

I finally found relief for my chapped lips when I stopped using lip balms in tubes or pots with menthol, mint extract, mint oil, or any kind of mint flavoring (especially peppermint), eucalyptus, cinnamon flavoring or lip plumping type ingredients.
I suffered for years, used jars or Carmex, tubes of Burt's Bees, Blistex, et. al.
My derm was no help at all. Finally, my pharmacist started quizzing me one day on all of the lip relief products I had been using. He steered me away from all of the above and suggested that I try a tube of Cococare. Ten plus years of chapped lip misery was gone in a few weeks.
