@Booksamillion - Another Colorodan here. My tried and true lip balm for 20+ years is "Kiehl's Lip Balm #1." Simply the best product to keep my lips soft and moist even when I'm out playing in nature every weekend, year round.

I have been a Carmex fan for years. I love the Smooth Pomegranate one.
However, I made a toothpaste switch a few years ago and found my lips to be in better shape for it! Who knew that toothpaste would have been the cause of my dry lips!

Another vote for Burt's Bees. New Mexico state law requires residents to have a lip balm on their person at all times to avoid the whole cracked, bleeding lip thing. It's just plain bad for tourism.
I've tried just about everything on my lips and Burt's Bees really seems to work. Several varieties to choose from and the tinted balms have replaced all glosses for me.

I’ve just started using the IT hydrating lip treatment (A361872) and so far, I like it better than all the various other lip products I own. And I have a lot.
QVC has two shades, and I chose the Rose. The description uses the term “pillow-soft”, and that is exactly how my lips feel.
This is my very first IT purchase and I am so glad I gave it a chance.

I have tried numerous products with little or no success. Burt's Bee's is probably the best OTC lip balm I've used.
I have Sjorgrens Syndrome, which is an autoimmune disease that effects you mouth, eyes, etc. It bothers my mouth and lips a lot. I was using a tube of the Burt's Bee a week. I finally decided to start making my own. I love it. I make up different flavors at Christmas for our family and friends. I also make it to give out to the nurses at the various doctors offices where I go. I put tea tree oil in the batches I make for myself.

Caution!! Make sure to read the ingredients!
Some of the suggestions here (Burt's Bees, Carmex) can have menthol, peppermint oil or camphor in them, which believe it or not, can be irritating and drying to the tender skin on your lips. As a result, they have a rebound effect where you (think) you need to use more and more of it. Why they put those ingredients in a lip product is beyond me.
Hope you find something that works for you!

I read about the menthol and camphor in a magazine article. I'd been using one with menthol. I stopped using that product and immediately could tell a difference in how my lips felt.
