I never experience dryness from shampoo unless it's dry shampoo.

There are two products that really work: 1) Avalon Organics Thickening shampoo with Biotin B Complex and 2) aquage thickening spray gel - sprays out like a mist & does not build up. Spray on damp hair & blow dry. You will not believe how your hair feel after using both products. Love both. They are must haves for me.

One other tip - If your hair is dry. Take some Maracuja oil & m-a-ssage your scalp and then run it thru your hair. Sleep on towel and shampoo in a.m. This oil balances out your scalp and makes your hair feel soft & silky.

It's a good idea to alternate between a few shampoos. Sulfates dry your hair. I still have shampoo with sulfates but I also own sulfate free. Gentle shampoo by alba Botanica is a great sulfate free shampoo under $10.
