I have been using Wen (Tea Tree and Fig) since October 2010. I have had good results with my hair while using this combo. One thing that has happened a few times over the course of the 6 months is that periodically, I get these sections of my scalp that are really flakey. Not normal dandruff flakes but large white "plaques". If they become loose in my hair, they are very noticeable in my strands (my hair is below shoulder length). When this happens, I wash my hair with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and use a different conditioner and the problem goes away.
I am super careful to rinse, rinse, and rinse some more when I use Wen so I don't think that is the problem unless I need to rinse for more than 4-5 minutes. I was thinking that maybe my scalp just needs a periodic clarifying (?)
Has anyone ever had this problem?
Thanks!
