Has anyone tried the Dr. Dennis Gross Spectra Lite Pro LED Face mask?

Has anyone tried the Dr. Dennis Gross Spectra Lite Faceware Pro LED Face mask? It has LED red and blue lights that help with anti-aging, hyperpigmentation and acne and I'm wondering if I should purchase it or not.  I'm soon to be 35, I look somewhat young for my age and deal with some mild adult acne breakouts once in a while and I get some hyperpigmentation from those break outs.  I want to keep looking my best and maye this could be a good addition.  I have a skincare routine for day and night and I use my Nuface device every night.  Has anyone used LED red light masks regularyly? Do they work?  Is it worth it since it is kind of pricey? Here's a photo of this mask- it looks pretty futuristic and would be funny to be seen wearing it by my family members Smiley LOL

From what I have seen, you have to choose your battle.  The masks that target acne et al generally don't have the correct nm's to target aging.  The anti-aging ones are a lot more expensive than the ones that have different color lights for different issues.  Not saying that's the case for this mask, but you'll need to do your homework.

@Icegoddess   Thank you for your reply! I didn't even consider how having both options could potentially make one of the light options less effective.  I'll definitely do my research before making a purchase- or maybe I'll ultimately just amp up my skincare routine and try to manage aging and breakouts without this futuristic mask. Smiley Happy

The CurrentBody and also the Omnilux masks are top-rated. Might want to check those out.

@SilleeMee those are strictly anti-aging, correct?  I think OP is also wanting something for acne.

Here's a rather lengthy thread about RLT masks. Lots of useful info here:

@SilleeMee Thank you so very much for the links and informative article about red light therapy.  I have a lot of research to do on this and I'll definitely look into the top-rated Current LED mask that you use.  Yes, @Icegoddess I'd like to have a mask that also treats acne so red light and blue light would be preferable to me.  Smiley Happy  I hope that some type of LED face gadget could work for me- it would be nice to add to my skincare routine and a lot fo fun to use.

@SportyShorty07 I recently read an article that highly rated the Dr. Gross mask.  Sorry but I don't recall specifics just noted the review since I had also looked at this mask.  I have the Omnilux red light mask that I have used for months and like it.   I bought at my derm's office when he carried them.

Omnilux carries a mask specifically for acne and you might want to check it out too.  I too use Nuface and have for years.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

A handheld blue light therapy device is another one to consider. With that type of device you can target and spot treat the areas of concern rather than using a whole-face mask for acne. If your acne is all over your face then a mask would be better in that case.
