There have been a few posts in the past asking if anyone has tried this product and not a lot of responses. Just wondering if anyone has tried it out yet or any other products comparable? It can be purchased on their site without committing to automatic future purchases. Please share your thoughts...

My thoughts are if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is just that! Reviews are terrible.

I'm sure it works very well as did Genie Line Smoother, but the problem this type of diminisher has is that it works great on clean dry skin.... and they say you can put your moisturizer/make up right over it but I've never been able to do so without losing that tight feeling and losing the tight look.... it went away immediately. I've tried several brands and had the same result. I tried applying my moisturizer and make up first and waited until it settled in and it just didn't work. I would be thrilled if Plexaderm worked differently.... but I doub it. JMHO

I guess I need to research it further. I didn't see many negative reviews @Shelbelle.

I use Serious Skin Care (HSN) Insta Tox. It's cheaper, and works for me.

Does the product stay on when applying foundation over it or does the tightening/smoothing effect diminish?

I have just started using Seamantika's Puffy Eye Treatment, which I believe is similar to Plexaderm, except that it gets good reviews. I like it, but I put it on a little differently than as directed. I put my makeup on first, especially any eye makeup. The problem with any of them is that once makeup is put over the product, it starts to flake. My foundation is put on just up to the area where I put on the product. I finish with Mally's pore defender, including under my eye, which I have finally figured out how to use thanks to the people on this board. The only thing that I don't do in the morning is put on more moisturizer. I load up on that at night.

@San Antonio Gal, just to give my two cents worth about Instatox. Hope that you don't mind that I stuck my nose in here. For me Instatox did not work. I have very dry skin and this product added to the dryness. So when I tried to add my moisturizer and makeup over it, it just disturbed the product. However, it makes an awesome lip primer. Have been using for years as my lip primer. My lip products wear for hours.
