Re: Has Anyone Used this Powder from Edward Bess?

@Himi lover I have not used the Foundcealer (That's a funny name.). I like Tarte products, but if you aren't in a big hurry they are usually on sale somewhere. Tarte site, Sephora, Ulta, Haute Look, etc. I have used the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation (Not sure how these 2 are different) & it is fairly full coverage. You have to get your shade right, because there is so much coverage. I mainly use the BB Tinted Treatment Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 as my foundation. It gives me nice coverage to even out my skintone. Sometimes I mix the 2 to adjust my coverage.

Re: Has Anyone Used this Powder from Edward Bess?

@Himi lover I love the Foundcealer from Tarte.  I do not like their original amazonian clay foundation formula, I found it too heavy for me.  However, this product covers the dark spots and redness easily and you do not need a lot of product to do so. This is a similar texture (mousse-like) to the original amazonian clay foundation.  This lasts a good 6-8 hours for me, with JM tinted moisturizer underneath (no primer). They bury this product on the QVC site, and I am not sure it is even available elsewhere because the "new" foundcealer is a serum.

@ajsidney12@Dusty1

Hi, just checking in after a couple of days. I did order the Foundcealer and got it directly from Tarte, fast delivery!  I used it for the first time yesterday. It's a bit thick but has a beautiful finish. I found it a bit hard to spread but my face was on the dry side when I applied it. I have been using the Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint, which is a much lighter texture, so I'm not used to a regular foundation.  I purchased the light-medium and it's a good shade. I think I'm going to like it but will need to make sure my skin is very moisturized before applying.  So you say the new Foundcealer is a serum?

@Himi lover You can also try mixing the Nars & your Tarte together to get a different consistency or a bit of something else, if you like.

@ajsidney12 mentioned that the Tarte is a serum, but I don't see that listed anywhere. I only see foundation & concealer.

I have that color .

It goes on very light. You can build the color.  I use this as blush and build up the color on the cheeks.

Re: Has Anyone Used this Powder from Edward Bess?

I bought this the first time it was presented in the lighter shade, Belissima.  I have very fair skin and use it as an all over bronzer because it gives my face warmth without an orange or brown look, just a golden soft haze.  It is very light so if you are looking for a blush this would not be it.  But if you want a pale golden powder/bronzer it works very well.

Re: Has Anyone Used this Powder from Edward Bess?

@Himi lover I did say that they had a "new" foundcealer that was a serum, but that was a year or so ago. Maybe it was not that big of a success or maybe that is what they are calling the new Aquacelaer line (?).

I use Josie Maran oil and her moisturizer before I use the foundcealer I recommended.  I use sparingly, as you say it can be a little thick. I am sorry it is not working that well for you, but I did have to play around with it a little too.  I also use one of the Tarte brushes to apply it.  When I originally purchased this item it came with a double ended brush, but I actually prefer to use the bigger one that sell here on the Q, item #A324868.

Oh, it's not that it's not working for me, I will just have to make sure my skin is more moisturized.  I do like the finish very much.  I'll just need to play around a bit with it.
