The foam.
Thanks. I re-read and saw where you said you weren't even attempting to use the concentrate on your face. I should learn to read better. Really sorry about the results and right before leaving town. Such a bummer!!!
Bath & Body Works used to have a self tanner remover. I don't know if they carry it anymore.
If you can get this tan off, I'd highly recommend going to a top notch spray salon. It's worth every penny.

Use a lemon wedge to remove the worst of the tanning mistakes. Cheap, fast and easy.

Great tip maestra!
I doubt there's too many of us who haven't gone through the same thing LipstickDiva & the OP, JLF experienced.
I know I certainly have. UGH! What a painful process!! My face won't hold a self-tan for long due to all of the exfoliating products I use... but that's okay. That's what bronzers are for.

I used this gel last night. It went on well and left nice color. I'm doing it again tonight. I stand in front of the fan to dry it before I put on my clothes/britches.

JLF- if you decide you want to sell the drop formula, let me know.

That's a great tip. I didn't know lemon would help with that.

Funloving, please do let me know.
My favorite was Avon's Skin So Soft self-tanner. Found it on a lark and fell in love. They discontinued it and I bought what I could when it went to their clearance section. I write to them all the time to bring it back but so far, no luck.

I just tried a sample of the PC gel tanner 2 nights ago. My initial impression:
PROS: I slopped it on my legs and feet without too much care and I didn't have any streaking the next day (I did apply lotion first though).
CONS: It didn't give me much color. And, I didn't like that the directions said wait an hour for it to dry. IMO that's too long of a time not sit down, lay down or put clothes on.
The following night I applied the Beautisol that I got on one of the shopping channels a year or so ago (yeah, I don't apply them very often). It gives me more color and dries faster than the PC tanner.
I know that applying lotion first may dilute the amount of color I end up getting, but I always apply lotion first and some tanners give me more color than others, so using lotion first is my baseline.
