It seems to be almost a miracle worker. It shows up in many articles in Beauty magazines.

Hope you get some responses. I've read a lot about ultherapy and would be interested in the feedback, too!

Our local CBS affiliate in LA had a story about it. It looks interesting. They have the story up on their website but not the video. They did say that it hurts but not bad. It lasts for about 2 years. No cutting - just ultrasound that heats up the underlying collagen and firms up the chin. Here's the link: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2014/11/25/simple-procedure-uses-ultrasound-to-treat-turkey-neck-with...
ETA to add: Here is a link with pictures before and after. http://www.manhattan-dermatology.com/ultherapy-skin-tightening-cosmetic-dermatology.html

I had Ultherapy on August 18th on my jaw line and lower face. It was done by a Plastic Surgeon.
Yes, it was painful. The Dr. gave me a script for 2 Percocet to take before the procedure if someone was driving. Because I was driving, I was only allowed to take one. I am pretty good with pain but this procedure was tough. The Doctor felt that I was really handling the pain well.
Anyhow, I have a follow up in 2 weeks. I just turned 68 and feel that there was NOT much of a change. The 2 procedures cost me over $2,000. I do not feel it was worth the money.
Through the years I have had a mini face lift, etc. and this procedure did very little if anything.

Could it be that the ultheraphy takes longer to show its full benefit? What did your PS day? Please keep us posted.

ElvisShops.....the results take 3 months, it is already past the 3 months. If you look at the pictures that Doctors post on the internet you will see that the results are very minimal.
I am going to the Plastic Surgeon next week for my 3 month follow up. The one thing the Doctor did say is that people over 60 years old do not get as good results as younger people. She was very honest with me.
In August I was going to have my forehead done the same time as the jawline and lower face but the Doctor wanted me to see the results of the jaw and lower face before doing the forehead. I am guessing that she felt that I might not be pleased with the results.
It is my opinion that the cost does not justify the minimal results. No one has even noticed any difference in my appearance.
A younger person will probably see better results.
I have had fillers, mini face lift, Botox, etc. in the past and got better results for the $$$$$.

I'm sorry you didn't get the results you had hoped for. I appreciate your sharing your experience. Your comments probably helped others weighing the pros and cons of this procedure.

Disneydiva......glad you got good results. Why are you doing it again so soon?
Mine was painful in the jaw line because we don't have a lot of fat between the skin and bone to absorb the pulses .
My Dr. raised and lowered the intensity based on what area she was doing. I could tolerate the lower face but the jawline was really painful.
