The best way to find a new stylist is to ask someone who's hair you admire and is similar to the look you want where they go. I am a stylist in NJ and just yesterday a new client who relocated from Colorado saw a client of mine and asked her who did her hair. She said she would fly back to Colorado every 6 months, but now she is happy with my skills.

I see Theresa but they are ALL excellent. They are on Providence Road. Very friendly salon. Here's their link. Unfortunately, the hyperlink doesn't work here.

Jach1: I just left you the Jordan Thomas' link. I tried going into the subcategories and they didn't work. Looks like they changed their website and didn't release it properly. I will be there within the next several days and will tell them. I like to know what the services cost before I go.

Then you'd be much better off going to a neighborhood or local salon, a family-owned salon, and/or one where the owner has the salon in or attached-to their home.
They're usually very down-to-earth, and the prices are often extremely reasonable. Check the phone book, or Google something like 'beauty salons near___ (your zip code)'. Sometimes you'll even see "Yelp" or other reviews.
My mom always frequented theses types of businesses, and I've continued the 'tradition'. 8)
