Redken had a product they discontinued years ago called traction instant texture spray. Loved It!! Can't find anything on the market that compares. Did anyone use it and if so did you find anything out there like it. Have been looking a long time....

Yes, that's it. It use to sell for $15. a bottle. ( $50-$70 a bottle is a little steep.)

Looking for something that is on the market today that is similar.

Thanks all but I was hoping to find a replacement for ""Traction"" since it is discontinued. I like the hold that it had when I styled my hair which is short and thick.

I will continue the search...

I haven't tried these, but Nick Chavez makes products called Flocker Extra Hold Hairspray, Red Carpet Extra Hold Finishing Hairspray and Volumizing Extra Hold Hairspray.
