Hair color too dark!

Hi Ladies;

Wonder if someone can help. I had my hair done today for a special occasion tmr. After years of being blonde, i went more natural last year. I have some red in my hair, as well as brown, some blonde and now sadly abit of gray!!

I wanted the reddish tones out, she accomplished that, but i wanted a much lighter brown shade, and now it's darker than ever. Can i fix this for tmr without turning it back to red!

Thanks for any advice..
