Hair Removal

Anyone have any good suggestions on underarm hair removal? Everytime I shave I still have dark hairs that are visible just under the skin. I can never get all the hair removed no matter how much I shave. I'm getting ready to go to the beach and would love to get rid of all the hair. This winter I plan on laser hair removal but I need some suggestions for now.
