I sent the YBF special value back since like most,pieces of it fell apart. Now here is my question. They charged me for sending it back. I thought if its defective they refund all shipping, both ways. Am I wrong, or should I call customer service to get my return shipping refunded. I used there easy returns label so they charged $6.99. If I knew I wasn't getting my return shipping back I would 've paid my self to ship and saved a few bucks.

Did you mark your return receipt defective?
I think if you call them and tell them it was defective they will return that fee.

Yes I did. I remember reading on this forum that if you mark it as defective they refund S & H. But then I started thinking maybe its only one way of shipping not both.
I'l call customer service.

I agree. If you marked your return receipt defective, you should have had return shipping refunded. Call them. (I think YBF quality is not the same as Models Prefer.)

I agree. I couldnt believe it. Idid like the brown eye lid pencil and one of the lip colors / I liked the colors but the feel was waxy. I don't think had ever ordered her products before, and Iam not super picky but they were gross.

Call CS, you should get the shipping refunded. Stacy's products changed when she changed the name. The brow pencil is very waxy now.

I also wrote ""defective products"" on the return receipt and was charged for the return shipping. I wrote Customer Service an e-mail and they responded the next day. They were very pleasant and said they they agreed that I should not have to pay shipping since the products were defective and my bank account was credited the shipping charge the next day. Too bad we have to follow up but it seems that is the norm now.

Definitely call CS. Not something to get upset about. They will take care of it.
I always call CS before returning anything defective - regardless of what the site is and what the policy is on returns. That way they understand the problem and make sure I am not charged.

I had some sheets that fell apart at the seams after the first washing and called HSN customer service because I wanted to make sure that I received free return shipping. She offered to email or mail a free return shipping label. I chose to have it emailed, printed it out and used it, no charge for the return. If you use their prepaid label, it automatically deducts the charge from your return. If you call them, they should refund your money.
