The old mask has a replaceable battery pack. The new mask has a battery pack but it's not replaceable and is permanently connected to the mask on a cord. 

The old mask battery pack lasted almost 3 years for me. I was using my mask 6 days a week so it might last longer if you use it less. The replacement battery pack costs $40 + $4.99 sh.

@Skyegirl21 Me too! I have purchased  so many facial gadgets that I use for a few months and then stop because I am not seeing any difference.  I just threw out  them out.

@Skyegirl21 Me too! I have purchased  so many facial gadgets that I use for a few months and then stop because I am not seeing any difference.  I just threw out  them out.

I wear my mask while walking on my treadmill. 10 minutes into my workout and then the mask comes off. I use my treadmill 6 days a week so that's when I use my mask, too.
