HIAJ Night Going Bad?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here in the forums. I love philosophy products and use them frequently. Back in June I went on a trip and brought my HIAJ Night with me. When I came home, for the longest time I "lost" my jar and I was ecstatic to find it today (it was buried in a suitcase).

Unfortunately, when I went to use it tonight I found this horrible brown stuff around the rim when I opened it, and the product itself had turned yellow with a horrible smell. I don't remember it being like this when I first got it.

So my question is, does HIAJ Night go bad? I've never had a similar problem with regular HIAJ. I am so baffled!

The jar was almost full too, which makes me lament so much money gone down the drain but I had to throw it out because I'm afraid to use it. I'd appreciate any knowledge you guys have!
