The biggest thing I did over summer was quit soda. I started drinking flavored sparkling water called refreshers from Safeway. 79¢. The fizz in it satisfies my soda craving. I also cut out potatoes and eat more brown rice. I have lost over 12 pounds since May and almost at my target weight.

It's amazing how just changing a couple things makes such a difference.

Hi, all! I have been cutting procesed foods out for the last few months. This may be old news to you as this siite has become quite popular, but 100daysofrealfood dot com was helpful to me in this venture. It helped me to learn what to cut out of my diet and why, along with some real food recipes.

Re: HEP (Healthy Eating Program) – October 2014

Well, I wish I could say I have been doing good but it would be a lie. I cant seem to get this right. I am not even going to say I am going to start tomorrow, I am just going to do it when I do it. I did give away some junk so, at least, that is out of my sight. I still have quite a bit but I am determined to not bring anymore junk home. It seems if I start to buy the stuff it opens up the flood gates for some reason. The holidays are coming and I really want to enjoy myself with a clear conscious. Why is that piece of cake so much more appealing than the apple? This is my question,
