@Icegoddess  I think it must depend on how it's processed, because I don't smell a trace of anything in mine, and I have a great sense of smell.

I've tried so many things and I haven't found anything to really help me, so I can't help you!  Most things I have tried either don't work at all or make my hair greasy looking.  Good luck - I hope you get some good suggestions and find a solution!

I purchased this inexpensive one from Target after reading the reviews.  Haven't used it yet.

I have the same problem.  I've tried so many hair products.  I recently tried Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, Tahitian Vanilla hydrating & moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.  I also got the leave in spray.

 

 

Very inexpensive and my hair looks and "behaves" so much better using this brand.  I've only found it on Amazon.  I recently reordered.  I love it.
