Is there any product out there that really tames frizzy hair? I never had frizzy hair as bad as what I have now. I have spent so much on products that promise to tame the frizz, but so far not one worked. Please do not suggest a keratin treatment. I am finished with them. My hair is now too thin. Last summer I had little frizz but thin stringy hair with no body for months. Thanks for your help

I have had good luck with the Tres Luxe products (Whole Foods and Amazon). I use the serum first and then a styling cream from the same brand.

@Janey2 You might want to call the number on Chaz Dean's website and see what they suggest. I love his products. My hair is fine and a little frizzy. I use his cleansing conditioner, mouse, and replenishing mist. My hair is smooth and shiny.

I've had luck with BIOSILK, before styling my hair I put a very small dab in the palm of my hand (depending on your hair length) and rub my palms together and smooth over my hair, a little goes a long way, it leaves my hair shiny and controls the frizz. You can purchase at Amazon, Walmart.

I use Tweak'd Revitalizing Hair Treatment Mist, sprayed on wet hair before blow drying. It can also be applied to dry hair.

I can totally relate! I have a very difficult hair type (2C) in summer, (coarse, wiry, flyaway). It frizzes at the mere slight increase in humidity. I do think at home hair color helps keep the cuticle closed a little ( decreases frizz).
The only things I have found to control frizz is either a lot of layers of products ending with a good holding gel and hair spray- Or keratin treatment, which is expensive but magical. Nothing else controls my hair and I have drawers full of products that failed- Best wishes!

@untitled a keratin treatment is one of the most effective things you can use for frizzy hair:

I have had many Keratin treatments in the past. Yes it took the frizz out but last summer I had no fizz but thin stringy hair with no body. It looked just as bad as what the frizz looks like, in a different way. When I do color my hair it is very slightly less frizzy for about a week.

I have thick hair that can get "thicker" in the summer w humidity. I use a Redkin anti frizz product that is ok but doesn't make it 100% better. No way would I ever get a Keratin treatment. Many brands include Formaldehyde- be careful. Also thins the hair. I opt for a pony tail in hot weather!
