Hi
Okay, I'm old. I am getting more and more grey hairs in my eyebrows to the point where I can no longer hide them. On top of it those little buggers stick out like wires.....my friend trimmed them with a scissors, LOL!!
My problem is that I can not find a product that will cover the gray and has staying power. I have used the color taupe for years and this color always worked. I have never been loyal to one brand since I have nice eyebrows until now. My hair is brown with a lot of blonde highlights.
They are getting thin, I am losing some of the tail and now the grey hairs. I am using Anatasia Brow Wiz Gel pencil but I am not happy with it. I tried Tarte Mousse but it dried up on me so fast.
I sure could use some help and suggestions. It sure would be appreciated. BTW, I have been quite ill lately, I have kidney problems, so I did get a chance to wish everyone a.. Very Happy New Year!
TIA!!

I've used the YBF automatic brow pencil from HSN. My first one was fine, but the second one isn't so good. A few months ago someone posted about them breaking easily and that's what's happening to this one. It's doubtful that I'll buy it again. From QVC, I really like the IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil. I've been getting some of those wiry brow hairs here and there, and sometimes there are those that are so long with a mind of their own. I've been plucking, but I also know I can't do that forever either or I'll have no brows at all. Gosh, I don't want to have those drawn on brows on bare skin. Really, though, check out the IT pencil.

Be careful with that stuff. My DH tried it on his brows and mustache and ended up with a chemical burn.

JLF I feel your pain, have the same problem, when I color my hair I use a q-tip for brows, doesn't last long hopefully someone will have a good solution. I've always had good brows so am not good with pencils, etc as I've never had to use them
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, my thoughts & prayers are with you take care

Thanks, spix, but I feel pretty good actually. It's the OP/Marcee46 who is ill.

I have my stylist color my brows every 5-6 weeks when she colors my hair. Works like a charm. First she colors them, then she waxes them, trims them (if needed) and I'm good to go. Best $7 I've ever spent.

Have you tried Great Brow Day? That always works for me. You can find it on the net. Also, my brows had thinned to the point they were practically non-existent. I started applying black castor oil (available on Amazon) to my brows at night and Nutraluxe brow serum in the mornings. After about 6-7 weeks they had pretty much grown back, and I have brows again. Good luck - hope you find a product that works for you!

Have you tried "rapid lash eyelash & eyebrow enhancing serum" to help with the thinning? Can be ordered on Amazon etc....Having your brows colored at salon is a pleasant treat....also, suggestion since you mentioned your eyebrows are thinning with their tails disappearing, have you had your Thyroid hormone levels checked lately? Thinning brows is one of the potential indicators of potential Thyroid hormone levels not being "normal" for your specific system. Good luck! I can relate!
