I have lines on my forehead that are beginning to drive me crazy. Any good cream or serum out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Anything retinol - check out Amazon - they have a lot of retinol products with very reasonable prices and good reviews.

I love Paula's Choice proeucts, her serums, BHA & AHA products (they help diminish fine lines/wrinkles). Also check Beautypedia for reviews and drugstore/dept. store/online skin care & makekup. Ingredients are very important as well as no jar packaging except for body creams and no fragrance.

I've had good luck with Dr. Denese Wrinkle duo for the face and neck. I can actually see a difference and I'm in the 50+ and holding category.

I was told Retinol only keeps new wrinkles from forming, doesn't help existing. I believe you can try anything and everything, it has a 50/50 success. It will work or won't work. I hate to be Nellie negative, but after spending endless $$$, you will have what you're going to have. I really feel we all should have been using retinol at age 20 and continued it until forever.

I use retinol and it has reduced my existing wrinkles. My skin is very much smoother after using retinol. What you were told is incorrect.

I use SkinMedica 1% retinol, and although my skin looks nice, it has never reduced my smile lines, 11's or little lip lines I'm beginning to slightly show. I would have to agree with the poster on that. Nothing permanently gets rid of lines, but a rich moisturizer with hyaluronic should help moisten and plump the skin, making lines fill out. Personally, it's been a hit and miss...what others rave about, didn't please me in the least. See if you can try some samples, and experiment, (maybe a Sephora if you have one).
I'm currently using Consult Beaute from Evine Live. It does what I said above...but nothing permanently. I wait for their shows, and look for specials...it's pricey otherwise.

I recommend bangs.
