Re: Going Grey...probably Not!๐Ÿ˜…

@monicakm The first time I watched a Nikol Johnson video my first reaction was that she would look so much better without that gray hair.

@Janey2

She might, but she absolutely slays the gray hair! (IMO).

Color if you want to, if not, go gray.  It is a personal decision and there is no wrong or right.

If you think coloring your hair makes you look 20 years younger, think again.  It doesn't.

Gray hair does not make you look 20 years older either.  Many young people have gray hair....like Alberti and they embrace it.

Wrinkles and sagging skin???? Yeah, they are aging.

@wenfen This thread is so interesting to me. I'm glad that most of us agree that whatever makes each of us feel best is best for us!

I don't go to many rock concerts (I would love to hear about the concerts that you go to!) but I have been following BTS, a Kpop group, for years!

Since they are Korean & with Covid canceling so many things I didn't get the chance to see them live until last year. I saw them twice last year & I am going to see one of them, solo, in 2 weeks.

In Chicago. With my grey hair & all!!

I can't wait.

@San Antonio Gal

LOL!  I'll wait until I'm dead to go gray!

@Dusty1

Have a super good time!  I don't listen to their music but I know who they are and how darn cute they are.  Did you know that one of their dads is a cosmetic surgeon on YT?  Or am I thinking of another K-Pop singer?

I've seen Willie Nelson at one of his outdoor picnics in the mid to late 70s.

Foreigner in the same time period.  Glen Beck.  Rush Limbaugh and there is somone coming to Dallas soon that I really really really wanted to see but I'm not up to the event.  Can't remember who it is!  Going to see Patrick Mahomes just nearly killed me with all the walking and standing and that was nothing compared to a famous music artist.

I looked at some upcoming events in DFW.  Steve Miller band will be there and Louis Capaldi also.  I would go see both of those shows.  Wish I lived closer and two good knees.

What really convinced me to stay blonde was a little girl I met while waiting for a table at a luncheonette. She started talking to me about her doll and I mentioned I was a grandma. She looked at me and said "No, you aren't". Her mom corrected her but she persisted. She said "Grandmas have gray hair". Out of the mouths of babes.๐Ÿ˜Š

@Ainhisg My DH is 57 and has practically no gray hair.  I on the other hand at 55 am probably 80% gray.  I say probably b/c I color and highlight my hair so I don't know for sure.  But there is no way I am going to stop coloring my hair anytime soon especially if he doesn't catch up to me in the gray hair department.

@ninjawife  -  55 is too young to go gray - in my opinion.  Good choice to continue coloring.
